Mood: Amused
Song of the Day:
So I have decided to attempt to do National Novel Writing Month.basically you are challenged to write a 50,000 word novel by the end of November..it should be fun to see if I can make it
On another note...I am gearing up for the busy season a.k.a Holiday hell a.k.a The holiday shopping season..people need to learn to buy what they want early so I don't have to hear them whine about we don't have the toy they want or the fake tree they want or whatever..lol
Bioshock Infinate is one bad ass game I must say..
Well I don't have all that much to say tonight..
So until next time
Peace Love and Apple Jacks..
Oh speaking of which I was informed by my friend that I originally started saying that 10 years ago in my blog and in conversations and here I was trying to figure when I came up that lol
For real thou..
Bye for now...

It's Friday Friday but I ain't getting down on a Friday....
Mood: Inspired and Happy
Song of the Day:
Sorry for the Rebecca Black reference in my title by the way..lol
So I have been talking to somebody who is totally wonderful and has been one of my best friends for about 10 years..we lost touch the past couple of years but we recently got back in touch..I shall call her Ms. Mystery for now...cause she is quite mysterious and spiffy too!
On a another note I decided to let my readers (all 3 of you lol) to leave comments without me moderating them for now..
Anyways I have been feeling pretty inspired as of late...
And have been thinking about realizing one of my dreams..That of being a published author
The way I see it I can write a story/book and self publish through Amazon and it wouldn't matter to me if I sold O copies or a million copies (I can dream right lol) the point being a I fulfilled a dream..
I have had a story idea bouncing around in my head..I am going to begin to work on it this weekend
I also am leaning towards going to school next semester and taking a creative writing course as well...
And I have decided I am taking a trip somewhere next year I haven't decided the destination but I am thinking Canada or Australia...I want to see new things and have some new adventures..I actually do know that next year I do want to go to Tampa and see a Bucs game ( They have to be better next year right?)
Well I am running out of things to say so I will wrap this up for now
So until next time Spiffy People
Peace Love and a Bowl of Apple Jacks

On My Mind
So it is almost 230 in the morning and I can't sleep
And this song is on my mind
On the plus side I got in contact with my very good friend Abbie who I lost contact with a couple years ago

Taking a trip back down memory lane...
So this past week I was pleasently surprised to seke I was in a group in Facebook (thanks for adding me Renee) A group devoted to a website that I belonged to about ten years ago.
I found this site while looking for something different from Hot or Not (remember that). Little did I realize at the time just how important part of my life this place would be...
I was a shy person and was actually scared to join at first...but then I began to climb out of my shell and perused the forums and slowly began to talk to people and even began to write in my journal..
It really was the first place where i felt I could truly be my geeky/nerdy sometime crazy self and not be judged for it.
One thing lead to another and I made lots and lots of friends....Some I have managed to keep in with over the past 10 years some which I have fallen out of contact with..
But now I get I chance to reconnect with some of those which I had fallen out of contact with and that is a spiffy thing and I also get a chance to make some new friends that I may have missed the first time around.
You know the memories have really started to flood back into my mind like a good kill streak in Call of Duty..
fuzzy cuffs and gummy bears(chloe)
discussions about which toliet paper is best for bra stuffing (mel a.k.a ripewithdecay)
pencils are evil(cesa)
journal pimping
reading stories about "The Conner"(kimboly)
Corrrupting my mind- (you know who you are lol)
Finally mking it to the most read journals
forum hijinks
the owner of the site being a asshole (well its not a good memory but still a memory)
the phone bill for all the people I called and talked to hours and hours
All the great journals I read-too many to name lol
Fan signs-and really we were talking selfies long before it was the trendy thing to do
swydm crushes and yes I had quite a few (maybe a topic for another blog entry :P)
learning html
the insomniacs club ( I remember Trish being in it but forget who else off the top of my head)
buying my first webcam for chatting
so anyways here to good memories and hopefully making more

Randomly Writing Things Just Because I Can
Well this weekend was spent fixing the rain gutters on the house...fun times yep yep lol
Cleaned up my little corner of the universe today and reorganized a few things that were driving me buggy
I also did laundry which is never fun
I seriously believe now that my Buccaneers need to call this season a wash and fire Coach Schiano and begin the search for a new coach a.s.a.p.
I rediscovered my love for Netflix this weekend..
Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian readers out there hope you had a fun and safe weekend.
Hemlock Grove is one odd show this far..
No more Munch on Law and Order: SVU that make me sad
Eek just 12 more days til Batman: Arkham Orgins I maybe be off the grid for awhile when it comes out...and a mobile port equals twice the fun woohoo!
I really should start making more vine's although it seems vine was made for six second snippets of porn not regular randomness like I would do lol
What does the fox say??
Well that is about all for now spiffy people
until next time..
Peace Love and Apple Jacks!!

31 Days of Halloween:Oh M Gee what the hell did I just watch...
No words for this one...I am completely speechless.....
s
This movie tries to paoridy among others...
Carrie ( the girls name is Cherry haha funny)
disco
roller skating
To say this movie is bad is a understatement...Now Now I realize a movie Gingerbread Man will never win a Oscar but man Charles Band has totally backslid from his day as a maker of anything remotely resembling good.. As somebody who loved some of Full Moon's earlier output like Dolls and Puppet Master, Demonic Toys heck even Killhoy he and watching this and movies like Killer Bong kinda makes me sad...A movie like this also needs the one thing movies like this all needs and it didn't have it and that is nudity..
Even with all that.....wait was that really a crappy version of the love boat theme song...nope false alarm..lol
As I was saying even with all this is still not the worst movie I have even seen..Nine Lives you still hold that honor ( you can thank me later makers of that movie lol)
I will give this one a 1.35 out of 5\
Until next time folks
Peace Love and a GingerDead Man!!

31 Days of Halloween...Finally caught up!!!
Today's TV shows on tap and the entry that gets me caught up on these...(finally!!!!)are
Some of my fondest childhood memories are watching with my Grandma and Mom Saturday Night where USA would air Saturday Nightmares then after that Alfred Hitchcock Presents and either The Hitch Hiker or Ray Bradbury theater then at 11 switch to channel 31 from Friday the 13th the series, Freddy's Nightmares and these two shows by the time I went to bed it was about 2 in the morning if War of the Worlds was also on...( Hmmmm maybe I have always been a bit of a insomniac lol)
Both of these were anthology shows with a different story each week..as previously mentioned in my V/H/S review I love anthology horror so yeah these were two of my favorite shows as a kid
Both of these shows had a adaption of a Stephen King short story
Monsters with The Moving Finger
Tales with Sorry Right Number
Now it is impossible with shows like this to give a true rating to.. as some of the stories were either a hit or a complete miss and waste of time....
But with that being said I am giving both of these shows the Spiffy Seal of Approval and giving both shows 5 out of 5 stars...
Tomorrow I will have my thoughts of the newest Chucky movie Curse of Chucky up as the 31 days of Halloween continue.....
So until next time
Peace Love and Caramel Apples (just watch out for old grannies making pies made of apples with razors in them....Night of Demons reference for the win!!!!)

Ugly Stuff Target Sells #2
Today's ugly item is this...
This is a shaggy multicolored rug..this picture honestly does not do this rug justice...
In my humble opinion this rug looks like somebody threw up a bowl full of Fruity Pebbles and let it
dry....
Would you put this is your house???
I know I wouldn't and my spiffy co-worker Devon agreed with me and she wouldn't either..
Well leave some comments on this rug and tell me what you think
Until next time folks
I will continue bringing you these ugly items..

31 Days of Halloween...I am never going to catch up at this rate lol
Well to get me caught up I am going to do two reviews in one...so here we go!!!
The first review is a review is of......
Courage the Cowardly Dog!
Courage was adopted by Muriel and Eustace Bagge and they live in the middle of Nowhere, Kansas...All kinds of strange stuff happens in Nowhere and it is usually left up to Courage to save the day..
Muriel is the sweet loving grandma like lady while Eustace is the grumpy old man who only shows happiness while he is trying to scare Courage..
A typical episode is divided between two stories in which Courage despite his scaredy cat errr dog nature musters up just enough Courage to somehow some way save the day
The show plays the scares mostly over the top and for laughs..with a serreal look to it
This was one of the few of the cartoons of the late Nineties I really enjoyed watching along with Dexter's Labortory...
Courage had a total of 52 episodes made and was the last of six cartoons to be spun off World Premiere Toons
Overall I will give this show a 4.75 out of 5 stars...
The second show I am reviewing is.....
Everybody's favorite residents of 1313 Mockingbird Lane The Munsters!!!
Starring Fred Gwynne as Herman, Yvonne DeCarlo as Lily, Al Lewis as Grandpa, Butch Patrick as Eddie and Beverly Owen as Marilyn( well at least for the first 13 episodes) and Pat Priest as Marilyn (for the rest of the shows run)
This is one is a classic folks plain and simple what more can I say..
From Al Lewis' protral of Grandpa( who is a vampire) to Fred Gwynne's potrayol of Herman (as a Frankenstein monster)
Special note since Universial produced The Munsters they of course were allowed to use Frankenstein's classic look for Herman..
The Munsters were you typical working class family except for Marilyn who was considered to be a freak for her normal appearance which her family loved her in spite of it...
I could go and on a gush about my love for The Munsters but then I would be typing til 3 a.m. and sadily I can't do that lol
I will leave you with some more trivia..
There was a spin off series in the eighties called The Munsters Today in which the family was woke up from a deep sleep in the eighties and had to adjust to living in the new time peroid..
NBC tried to resurrect it with a more series drama called Mockingbird Lane which was made a pilot...
Well my rating for this is 5 out 5 stars!!!

31 Days of Halloween-Catching Up...lol
Well I better start catching up with these entries huh lol
Well I am going to veer off the path of reviewing movies for a bit and instead review some horror themed TV shows...why you ask ( well maybe not but I will tell you anyways lol) While strolling the Internet I came across a little news item about a TV series being developed based on the Scream series of movies..and the first thought in my mind was who in the blue hell would think this is a good idea..
My second thought was to watch some good horror TV shows and see if I can see if there is any way in hell I could figure out a way a Scream TV series would be good....
The first show on my list Hemlock Grove...which is a netflix original
I watched the first episode and I am still trying to figure out what the hell I just watched..
Some cute girl was killed
there is some to do with gypsies
some kind of medical experiments
A hint of a romance between one of the gypsies and a girl
a rivalry between two families
There is a lot going on...and I must watch just to see where this is all headed
And werewolves too
Famke Janssen is it...you may all know her as Jean Grey from the X-Men movies...she actually has done quite a few horror movies.Deep Rising, House on Haunted Hill, Lord of Illusions, and The Faculty
And Eli Roth is a executive producer...
So I will continue to watch and hope I can figure out just what is happening in Hemlock Grove..

31 Days of Halloween Isis curse of the lady mummy
Writer's note-I would have had this posted last night but TNA wrestling came on...and watching it and listening to my uncle completely crap all over and basically trash it was just too funny...I will probably watch the movie and try to post the blog entry about it the following day if work don't get in the way like it did today...well enough of my excuses lol on to the show....
Last night's movie was Isis: Curse of the Lady Mummy
Well the plot of this Isis' beloved brother/husband Osiris was killed by Set and she tries to resurrect them but Set kills her before she does and Osaris' body...fast forward to the future and Isis is resurrected by some college kids and she wants to resurrect Osiris....
Blah Blah boy chick gets possessed by Isis some more blah blah blah and another chick is possessed some more blah blah and a bunch of quick cut away kills and off screen kills as well and we are at the end of the movie...
In a nutshell this movie was bad bad bad...
The best parts of this movie...
The Target dog Bullseye makes a cameo appearance in this movie ( I was too lazy to edit my screen shot lol)
and
Lisa Palencia who is pretty damn hot in my humble opinion ( just wish she would have took the top off as it looks like she has some nice boobs ) She not only was one of the stars but she directed, produced and did some of the writing.
While as I said this was a bad movie...it will never top Blood Orgy of the She-Devils or Nine Lives for worst movie I have ever seen...with that in mind I will give this..
5 stars for Bullseye
5 stars for Lisa and her boobs which I wish she would have shown
and 1.95 stars for the movie itself
Check it out when there is absolutely nothing else to watch or while drunk or high take your pick
Until next time
This is Rich watching crappy movies so you don't have to...

31 Days of Halloween 10/2
* Just a quick note-I would e wrote this last night but after I finished the movie my internet went out and after waiting for a couple hours to come on I gave up and went to bed...but the good news is the internet is working again....
Today's review is V/H/S.
Note-I will not be giving plot synopsis as in anthologies they do tend to give away most of the story
This movie came out with a lot of hype as supposed 2 people fainted when it was shown at the Sundance Film Festival
Now this film is in the Found Footage genre of horror which took off after The Blair Witch Project came out...Now I have a love hate relationship with Found Footage movies as they have been beat into the ground with all 789 Paranormal Activity movies and the various cheap knock offs (Asylum I'm looking at you)
But then it is also a Anthology and I love me a good horror anthology and wish there were more of them...
As with most anthologies there are stories that are great and some that fall flat...
Tape 56- IS the wrap around tale which binds the story together...this one fell a bit flat for me I give 2 out of 5 stars
Amateur Night- Is a effective and somewhat creepy little tale..it has some nudity and major applause to Hannah Fierman as Lily who played the creepy yet pretty darn sexy girl well who has very little dialogue but whose one line "I like you" was creepy. I wanted to punch the living daylights out of Joe Sykes as Patrick who spent most of the story laughing in manor most irritating. I give this 4.5 out of 5
Second Honeymoon-One of the least effective stories in the bunch felt pretty rushed to me with a ending that came out of left field.. I give this one 2 out of 5 stars
Tuesday the 17th-cause you know if Friday was the 13th then the 17th would be Tuesday lol..Anyways this is your typical slasher in the woods tale with a couple little twists.. I liked it and Norma C. Quinones as Wendy is a hottie so I will give this one 3.5 out of 5 stars
The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily When She Was Younger- This good one was a bit of fun and a pretty good payoff in the end. Helen Rogers as Emily( who does good in her role by the way) and Liz Harvey have nice boobs so that earns this movie 1 star by themselves. over all I give this 5 out of 5 stars
10/31/98- The last tale in this collection- is one of the more mixed up ones as is it a haunted house story or is it about a cult and the ending umm ok...other then that it was enjoyable and the teddy bear/nanny cam costume is original.. I will give this 3 stars out of 5..
Over all this gets around a 3.33 out of 5 stars..I say check it out..
Until next time spiffy people
Peace, Love and A bowl of apple jacks!

31 Days of Halloween- Sweet Sixteen
Welcome to day one of the 31 days of Halloween where I will be watching 31 different movies and then giving my thoughts that movie here...
A few rules will apply to the movie I watch..
1. I must not have watched the movie in the last 6 months
2. It will not be any of the big franchise movie i.e. Jason, Freddy,Leatherface etc...
3. The only exceptions to the above rule will be on the 31st when I watch all the Halloween movies and the newest chucky movie which I will be watching.
4. I will not watch Nine Lives...Valentine or Blood Orgy of the She-Devils cause those movies suck worse then any Hulk Hogan movie ever could.
Now that I got the Rules out of the way on to today's review..
Sweet Sixteen (1981)

Now that I got the Rules out of the way on to today's review..
Sweet Sixteen (1981)
This is not to be confused with those stupid My Psycho Sweet Sixteen movies MTV put out....
I should start out with the cast which is pretty solid I must say...which includes
Bo Hopkins who is a solid character actor who chances are you have seen in something you have watched
Patrick Macnee-best know for playing John Steed in the original Avengers
Larry Storch-best known for his role in F-Troop as Corporal Agarn and in a bit of trivia is the first person to ever voice The Joker in a cartoon version of Batman
and last but not least
Dana Kimbell-who was a major cutie and looked a bit like Mandy Moore and is best know for being the "last girl" in Friday the 13th part 3
Now on to the movie....
The Plot-
When Melissa Morgan (Aleisa Shirley), an attractive big-city girl, moves to a small Texas town, she creates quite a stir with her beauty and promiscuous attitude. She's 15 going on 16, and all the boys at her new school are anxious to get to know her. Suddenly, the younger brother of a local hell raiser (Don Stroud) is brutally murdered and the town sheriff (Bo Hopkins) must try to solve the murder before the killer strikes again. Along to help him is his Nancy Drew-ish daughter (Dana Kimmell). (Thanks to wikipedia for the summery)
I will say this was solid little movie...pretty low on the body count...a little nudity..I predicted the killer about half way through the movie (I was right by the way) although how we got there and the motive was out of left field and in my opinion not properly fleshed out..
This could have been one of the classics of the early horror/slasher boom but falls just short with a plot that feels rushed and is not given the time to develop with too much time being devoted to a side story that goes now and feels out of place in this movie..take that out add just one or two more kills and a tad bit more nudity and flush out the back story of the killer more and we would be talking major cult classic which would probably be remade..actually I would be open to a remake of this..just to see if they could get it right
Overall I give this 2.5 out of 5 stars....
Fun Fact- Made in 1981 it wasn't released until 1983 probably on the hills of Dana Kimbell's turn in Friday the 13th part 3....

Today's item is a paper towel holder...
It is part of the Threshold™ Ceramic Geo Kitchen Counter Collection
One of my co-workers said she would give up on life if she walked into anybody's kitchen and saw that they had this..lol
Oh yeah the price on this is $19.99
What do you think??
Is it ugly?
Would you buy it?
What other uses besides a paper towel holder could this have? ( this could be interesting to see lol)
*If any of you during you shopping adventures come across something that you think is ugly..drop me a line I l would gladly feature it on my blog..

A New Begining...A New Era...

I have decided to stop being lazy....
And decided to start blogging again..
As to why I decided to start blogging again...
When going through the web I found a old site I belonged to where I used to blog almost everyday...and unfortunately I lost about 3 years of blogs when the site closed down...and thinking about it made me think about blogging once again...
Now I probaly will not blog everyday more like 3-4 days a week
WHat Will I write about you may be asking...
Well...good question...
I plan on writing about some of the ugly stuff target sells and trust me Target sells a lot of ugly crap
I may even try to do cam girl interviews again if I can anybody to interview
And in general random nonsense lol
